Welcoming Robyn James to Our Adult Dance Team!

As our class offerings continue to grow, so does our teaching family! We are delighted to introduce Robyn James, who will be leading our Over 60’s Ballet and Adult Musical Theatre classes.

About Robyn James – Adult Dance Teacher

Robyn brings a wealth of experience and a lifelong love of dance to our school. She began her dance journey in Swansea before moving to London to train at the London Studio Centre, where she earned a Degree in Theatre Dance and performed with the third-year company, Jazz Co.

After graduating, Robyn turned her focus to dance education, completing a PGCE in Dance Education at the Royal Academy of Dance and achieving Qualified Teacher Status. She has taught at Birmingham Ormiston Academy, a selective performing arts school in the Midlands, supporting students across multiple courses and helping them progress to renowned performing arts institutions such as Urdang, Bird College, Performers College, LIPA, and the London Studio Centre.

Robyn has also shared her expertise as a Jazz Dance tutor at Elmhurst Ballet School and within the London Studio Centre Associates Programme, preparing students for professional careers in the performing arts.

Now, Robyn is excited to bring her knowledge and passion to Adults Dance School (ADS). She loves helping adult dancers of all levels and abilities refine their technique, boost their confidence, and enjoy dance in a welcoming, supportive environment.
